Big 2015 plans in Hungary and Slovakia

2015 Access
Last week Sophie from our team visited MS Societies in Hungary and Slovakia. Both societies are busy preparing for World MS Day 2015 and have shared their plans with us.

Slovakia

Slovenský Zväz Sclerosis Multiplex is running an event for young people in conjunction with the Slovakian armed forces. There will also be a press conference taking place in conjunction with the Slovakian ministry of health. There will be information events taking place at all the local branches of the society across the country and some of them will also be holding cultural events.

Hungary

The Hungarian MS Society (Magyar Sclerosis Multiplex Tarsasag). Is working with Zoltan Ternovan (diagnosed with MS in 2002). He will be cycling all around Hungary in a 16 day bike ride, meeting people affected by MS all along the route. He will have a police escort for the final stage of the journey which ends with a huge celebration in Székesfehérvár. This kind of event is very unusual in Hungary!
