MS advice in Saudi Arabia

2012 Living with MS
World MS Day (WMSD) 2012 was celebrated with a number of events held across Saudi Arabia throughout the month of May.

On 23 May a conference for people with multiple sclerosis was held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Riyadh. More than 500 people attended and received gifts and souvenirs as well as new reading material about MS.

World MS Day was celebrated on the 30 May at the King Fahd Specialist Hospital in Damman. Several seminars were held in the recreation centre of the hospital and the Saudi Multiple Sclerosis Advisory Group was on hand to provide information to people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and their families.

Guest speakers included neurological specialists and a very special guest speaker. Mohamed Ibrahim, was invited to speak about his experience of living with MS. . The audience was invited to participate in the presentation and a good time was had by all.
