Ireland throws tea parties for WMSD
All over the Emerald Isle, the MS Society of Ireland has encouraged the hosting of fundraising tea parties to raise funds and awareness for MS. The organisation, with the help of McVitie’s Digestives and celebrity chef and author, Clodagh McKenna, is helping people to organise their own tea parties in aid of World MS Day.
The first party took place this morning at the Montessori Education Centre in the capital, Dublin, hosted by Ms McKenna. “I’m supporting McVitie’s Digestives Tea Party as I know first hand how MS can impact a family,” Clodagh said. “I also know how to bake a good biscuit so I’ll be helping to raise funds for people with MS in the coming weeks.”
