Central European countries celebrate WMSD

In Austria, Multiple Sklerose Gesellschaft Österreich is planning a series of events including an awareness raising campaign, press conference, and local events all over the country.  Find out more

 

Klimkovice Spa is the venue for World MS Day celebrations in the Czech Republic.  The Spa is where specialized rehabilitation for people with MS is provided.  Events include a seminar, gala evening featuring art made by people living with MS and a cultural programme.  Find out more.

 

In neighbouring Slovakia several events have already taken place with a conference on MS issues, a fundraising walk and concert in the capital, Bratislava and walks in other major towns. T-shirts, featuring sunflowers, the Slovak symbol of people with MS, are being sold today in aid of a new rehab centre. Find out more.

 

In Denmark, through the month of May, coin collections have taken place in 7.000 shops around the country for the Danish MS Society, and a media campaign is supporting this. Find out more
