A Street Party Marks MS Day 2012 in Brazil
In Brazil the Associação Brasileira de Esclerose Múltipla (ABEM) held their World MS Day activities this year in Alameda Maruás, São Paulo. The awareness raising event took the form of a street party, with a stall offerering refreshments and music from Brazilian singer Dudu França and Beatles tribute act Zoom Beatles. Volunteers distributed 500 packs containing information about MS and its symptoms, and participants included patients with MS.
