One Day wishes from the UK
2012 Living with MS
Patrick from the UK, age 59
“One day it will be possible to repair the damage done to my body by Multiple Sclerosis”
Access issues for Patrick
- All railway stations should be fully accessible. Too many train stations use steps to move between platforms. As well as helping the disabled it will help elderly people ho are not disabled and single parents with a buggy and children
- All public places to have an accessible bathroom, on the same floor as where the activities take place. Plenty of restaurants have toilets but not on the same floor
- Seats along the streets so people can sit down and rest would make life easier.
