A week of events in Cyprus to mark WMSD 2012
Celebrations continued on the 1stJune with another social event at Hilton park in Nicosia. Mrs Elsie Christofias, the first lady, attended along with members of the house of representatives and music was provided by the Love choir.
On the 2nd and 3rd of June scientific meetings were held by the Cyprus Association for Multiple Sclerosis and featured specialists from the fields of neurology, psychology and social inclusion as keynote speakers. The Minister of Health Dr Stavros Malas, and the Minister of Labour and Social Insurance Mrs Sotiroulla Charalambous both attended the talks.
Finally, a tea and coffee afternoon was held at the Aloe hotel in Paphos, on the 1st June and was attended by members of the association.
