Spain gets WMSD message out nationwide
On World MS Day 2012, across Spain, the general public are being informed about MS, thanks to the efforts of the Spanish MS society EME. One of television’s major channels featured WMSD on its morning news bulletin, as well as the second national newspaper, El Mundo. Yesterday, a documentary, featuring with three Spanish people living with MS was broadcast on national television.
EME also handed the Spanish Parliament a manifesto for people with MS, outlining the most important policy steps which need to be taken. Today and tomorrow, events are being held locally to mark WMSD, from the Basque Country to the Balearic Islands. Find out more.
