Welcome to World MS Day 2012
World MS Day 2012 is on its way!
Sorry we’ve been so quiet. Here’s what we’ve been up to the past two months…
Plans for the 2012 campaign began in September 2011 when World MS Day (WMSD) was re-launched as a public facing awareness campaign with a new strap-line, ‘1000 faces of MS’, and a new theme ‘Living with MS’.
The World MS Day working group, which is made up of representatives from MS organisations in Argentina, Australia, Estonia, Germany, India, Spain, and the USA, have been working together with a top creative agency to design a fun and engaging campaign that will appeal to new audiences.
Unfold the Mystery
The 2012 campaign uses clever riddles and a sense of mystery to engage the public and raise awareness of MS. This campaign will run for three weeks in the run up to World MS Day. We will need your help to make WMSD videos and messages go viral. Look out for more information about how you can get involved later on in the year.
1000 faces of MS
Alongside the awareness campaign we wanted to create a dialogue between people affected by MS and the public. People living with, and affected by MS will be invited to upload a digital postcard outlining what ‘Living with MS’ means to them. This site will remain secret until World MS Day when it will be revealed to the world as an evolving wall of stories and pictures.
To create your own postcard visit the new look World MS Day website from the first week of May 2012.
