Classic radio ads in New Zealand
MS New Zealand is celebrating World MS Day with the relaunch of radio ads from 1995.
The adverts which were first aired 18 years ago aim to raise awareness of the disease by reaching out to new audiences.
MS New Zealand have also launched a new Fatigue Management Programme ‘Minimise Fatigue, Maximise Life: Creating balance with Multiple Sclerosis’. This 6-week programme aims to empower its participants by giving them the tools to manage their own condition and symptoms.
The first research groups have already taken place and next month health professionals from across the country will go to Christchurch to receive training on how to roll-out the programme across New Zealand as part of the next stage of research.
The event also features a guest speaker, leading Neurologist in New Zealand Dr Deborah Mason who will be discussing Disability and Socio-economic Effects of Multiple Sclerosis in New Zealand.
