World’s longest power hug in Finland

2013 Young people
As part of the Finnish MS Society’s World MS Day 2013 celebrations, 20 events including open days and lectures took place across Finland.

The main event was a festival in Helsinki. Singer Saija Varjus, who has MS, performed at the event along with an acrobat who also has MS. The festival was hosted by Finnish MP Jani Toivola, a well-known advocate for equality.

The highlight of the day was the human chain in the form of MS formed by the audience. The host then initiated the world’s longest power hug, which went around the audience. What a brilliant idea!
