An event for PwMS in Brazil
2013 Young people
AGAPEM in Brazil organised an educational event for people with MS and their families. The event took place on 25 May in Porto Alegre. Highlights included a seminar from a psychologist and neurologists who spoke about MS in young people and it’s implications for people diagnosed and living with the disease in this particular time of life.
There was also a talk from a young MSer who was diagnosed at 13 and runs her own blog. Despite living most of her life with MS she has never given up on her dreams and has studied for a degree and a masters in public relations and is currently doing a doctorate!
