Introducing….
Six young people will share their mottos for identity, relationships and the future from 8 May. Get to know them below…
Anna, 26, Russia.
Anna was diagnosed when she was just 8 years old so has already been living with MS for more than 18 years! She works at a nursery and loves working with children.
Brenda, 21, Argentina
Brenda is 21 and was diagnosed with MS two years ago. She is currently studying Education studies at university and is a keen dancer too. She enjoys spending time with her friends, family and boyfriend, and of course her lovely doggie.
Breea, 19, USA
Breea was diagnosed one year ago and is still getting to grips with her MS. She lives in California (lucky her lots of sun!) and is a student. She has become active within the MS community already and is mentoring Mariam, a 17 year old recently diagnosed with MS. Breea went to visit her whilst she was still in hospital following the onset of her MS.
Praneel, 19, India
Praneel was diagnosed when he was 17 despite a shortage of specialist neurologists and diagnostics in India. He’s a keen musician and poet and even does a spot of modelling (What a talented guy!). Praneel is really close to his family who have been there to support him when times were tough.
Khaoula, 28, Tunisia
Khaoula was diagnosed when she was just 15 years old so has become an expert in managing her MS. She worked for several years as an English teacher and journalist but eventually gave up work as a result of her MS. Her mum has always been there to listen to her problems and give her advice.
Diogo, 23, Portugal
Diogo was 19 when he was diagnosed. He is currently studying communications and design at university whilst making the most of hanging out with friends and spending time with his family.
