World MS Day update: India

2010 Employment
As we move closer to 26 May, MS societies around the world are working hard to ensure their activities and events run smoothly.

The Indian MS Society India (MSSI) is planning events across the subcontinent to raise awareness about MS.

In four of India’s biggest cities, volunteers, most of whom have MS, will be holding events to give members of the public the chance to find out more about MS.

In Mumbai a press conference will be held in one of India’s most respected hospitals. Doctors who specialise in MS and other neurological conditions will be on hand to answer questions from journalists.

Celebrity appearances include a number of well known cricketers and Milind Soman, a Bollywood and television actor, who will be running part of the great wall of China for the cause.
