Working with the Ministry of health to improve access to work for people with MS in Cyprus

2011 Employment
The Cyprus Multiple Sclerosis Association is planning a press conference at the Ministry of Health with a focus on ‘The difficulties of Work’. Other activities include a silent auction and public events across the country.

The press conference, which will take place on 25 May, will be followed by a round-table discussion with the Minister of Health, the Minister of Social Insurance, and the Minister of Transport. It is hoped that the Ministers will make commitments to improve access to appropriate work for people with MS in Cyprus.

On 6 June a charity auction will take place at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia to raise money to support the services offered by the association.

Public awareness raising events will take place across the country in the two weeks running up to World MS Day. Look out for these activities in the local news or visit the Cyprus MS Association’s website to find out more about the activities taking place in May www.mscyprus.org
