Walking for MS in Korea

2011 Employment
The Korean MS Society has arranged a walk along the Han River as part of their World MS Day celebrations. The walk starts at 2pm in Yeouido Hangang Park, on the 28th May, and will vary in distance from 50m to 2km.  The flexibility in distance is to encourage absolutely everyone to get involved, as participants can choose how far they would like to walk depending on their mobility. Participants will be raising money for the Korean MS Society, and pharmaceutical company Merck Inc. will match the final donation total.

They are hoping for a big turn-out and encourage everyone to participate, from patients and their friends and families, to health care providers, members of government, and the general public. Through the event they want to raise awareness of the impact of MS in Korea, and to help build relationships and support between people with MS.
