Beautiful Day video launched for World MS Day

The video ‘Beautiful Day’, set to the U2 song of that name, was launched on the first World MS Day, 27 May 2009.

Planned to raise awareness of MS and unite and broaden the global MS movement, the day saw more than 200 activities in 67 countries. Media coverage included TV coverage in 27 countries and radio coverage in 14 countries. 14,339 people signed up to the World MS Day page on Facebook and 369 people became World MS Day Twitter followers.

‘Beautiful Day’, launched in nine languages, was used to raise awareness at events, online and on television.

By January 2015, the English version of the video had been watched by 177,000 people on YouTube.
