An exposition of arts and crafts created by people with MS is underway in Slovakia. Running from the 29th April until today, members of the MS Association “Hope” from Bratislava, and the MS Club Presov have organised a display of paintings, embroidery, crotchet, woodcarvings and much more as part of their World MS Day celebrations.

The exposition has been set up to show that a diagnosis of MS does not necessarily stop people from doing the things they love.

All of the artwork is for sale and visitors can also order items to be made. 10% of the profits will go toward building a National MS Centre, which will support the 8400 people living with MS in Slovakia. Some of the artists involved include Marek Daniel who works in pastels, and Mária Gumanová who creates lace and crotcheted items.
