Koreans join the movement to end MS
The Korean MS Society rallied support to end MS in public awareness raising marches and stands in Seoul
The Korean MS Society organised a day full of activities to mark World MS Day 2010. Public awareness raising was a priority with booths disseminating information and advice from medical staff set up around Seoul.
Several press events took place to give people with MS the opportunity to reach out to others using their own experience of living with MS.
One of the most inspirational speakers was No Dong-Ju who has developed a visual impairment as a result of his MS but still dreams of directing films. In 2008 No directed his first documentary film which won several national awards. He wanted to show others living with MS that dreams can still come true even after a diagnosis of MS.
