The Iranian MS Society is aiming to reach 2000 people in Tehran alone on World MS Day this year.
Key government officials and policy makers have been invited to attend an event for people with MS in Tehran which will include an exhibition of artistic work from people with MS, they are even planning to weave a World MS Day traditional Iranian rug to mark the day!
The Mayor of Tehran and representatives from the Ministry of Health and the State Welfare organisation are expected to attend the events as well as other supporters of the MS Society.
