Who will you thank?

2015 Access
This year World MS Day celebrates everyone who has broken down the barriers to living with MS.

Those people could be carers, friends, family members, health professionals, policy makers, companies, schools or support groups…anyone who has made a difference to people with MS.

The campaign team has already been inspired by the stories we’ve heard from around the world. We’ve heard how municipal surveyors in Italy ensured Terasina could access her own home, how a Facebook support group provides information and support for people living with MS in South Africa, and how Suzanne in the UK campaigned for access to the drug she needed – and succeeded.

These are just a few of the good-news stories we have heard so far. There will be many more.

The MS International Federation and all those who take part in World MS Day will be marking what those people and organisations have done by saying thank you – by email, by post or on social media.

The campaign team has made it easy to do this by providing ‘thank you’ cards for people to download and share on the campaign website. You can include a picture or download a poster and write your own message, or you can get creative and find an unusual way to say thanks – why not capture it on video?

Please use the hashtag #strongerthanMS when you share it. Then, on World MS Day itself, we’ll feature all the #strongerthanMS messages on the website and across social media.

See the ‘thank yous’ being shared

Together we’ll generate thousands of messages that celebrate networks of support, share achievements, raise awareness and inspire action, breaking down even more barriers to living with MS.
