On World MS Day two Belgian regional societies and the National MS Society organised a big family event for people with MS and their families and friends. The event took place in Belgian\u2019s most attractive animal park. More than 2000 people\u00a0attended. They set up a tent especially for the event, and printed out all the wishes that people were invited to submit by email for several weeks. These wishes were reproduced on origami in the shape of frogs.\u00a0 The symbolism of the frog is that it jumps from one obstacle to another without getting discouraged. The tent also provided a space where people could meet and socialise and share their experiences. Below are some of the many wishes (in French and English) which were shared on the day: 1. Un jour, je pourrai reprendre mes activit\u00e9s \u00e0 100% comme avant One day, I will be able to do things at 100 %,\u00a0 as\u00a0 I did before. Micheline. 2. Un jour, toutes les institutions financi\u00e8res nous consid\u00e8reront comme des \u00eatres humains et non comme des condamn\u00e9s One day, financial institutions will consider us as human beings and not as convicts. Carine 3. Un jour &#8230;&#8230;&#8230; le soleil brillera &#8230;&#8230;&#8230;.. pour vivre mieux ! One day \u2026\u2026 the sun will shine\u2026\u2026\u2026. for a better life. Mireille. 4. Un jour, m\u00eame si j&#8217;ai l&#8217;air tr\u00e8s en forme, les gens comprendront ce qui se passe en moi! One day, even if I look very fit, people will understand what is going on inside me. Un jour, il ne faudra plus se battre corps et \u00e2me pour avoir acc\u00e8s aux places de parking adapt\u00e9es&#8230; One day, we will not have to fight to have access to the adapted parking spaces\u2026 Aur\u00e9lie. 6. Un jour, j&#8217;esp\u00e8re qu&#8217;un traitement sera trouv\u00e9 pour les personnes souffrant de la SEP et peut-\u00eatre m\u00eame un vaccin pour \u00e9viter d&#8217;en \u00eatre atteint. One day, I hope a cure will be found for people with MS and perhaps even a vaccine to prevent MS. Nathalie. 11. Un jour viendra ou l info sur la sep sera plus claire.
